Merrick Management And Media Services is a business management, executive virtual assistant, artist management, administrative support and personal assistant business, owned by Taryn Merrick Blackwood. We cater to entrepreneurs,consultants, managers, interior designers, architects, artists, recording artists and Mac business owners. To some, we may be known as Virtual Assistants or by the name “Mac Virtual Assistant”, which is why you will see that term throughout our website. However, our services are offered on a higher level than what is commonly known as virtual assistant services. We were one of the first Mac online business management companies, and after over 24 years of working in corporate environments as executive administrative assistants, we decided to put our many skills to work for us and launched this business in 2004. With years of experience working for top level CEO’s, Chairmen, and Presidents, most of this work was already being done virtually as many of these executives had extensive travel schedules and were rarely in the office. Our company provides complete security and confidentiality for our clients. We offer many services that are uniquely tailored to suit each client. Our client profile is typically an extremely busy and highly successful executive or entrepreneur with many responsibilities. We work as administrators for clients to complete tasks or assignments according to their individual preferences. Communication is typically accomplished by email, fax, phone, CD/DVD/FTP internet transfer, and overnight mail. Our business concept was cultivated for the busy individual, mac entrepreneur, touring artist, sole proprietorship or small to medium sized business. People such as these no longer are forced to carry the overhead of an employee by paying for health insurance, 401K, vacation days, bonuses, sick leave, etc.

Taryn Merrick Blackwood has been taking care of peoples administrative needs for over 20 years. About 7 years ago she formed Merrick Management And Media Services. She enjoys working one on one with her valued clients. Taryn enjoys long term relationships with her clients and they value her as the “missing virtual link” in their business success. In addition to a long history of working with top CEO’s of Fortune 500 corporations, Taryn is a NAR® Certified REPA as well as a Certified Real Estate Support Specialist.
